dnshelper
ns8-dnshelper is a community app from the danb35 repo. Announcement and discussion thread here.

What is it?
dnshelper is a tool to allow other modules to update DNS records using your DNS provider's API. Its Records page will let you manually add and delete records, but its main purpose at this time is to give other modules (like automx) the ability to automatically make these changes.
Current status
As of 27 September 2026, the current release is 0.4.1. It supports these DNS hosts:
- Cloudflare
- Core-networks
- deSEC
- Digital Ocean
- Gandi
- GoDaddy
- Google Cloud DNS
- Hetzner
- IONOS
- Linode
- name.com
- OVH
- Porkbun
- Route53 (AWS)
- Vultr
As well as these protocols/services:
- nsupdate/RFC2136 (BIND, Technitium, etc.)
- PowerDNS
